Extend the reach of your content without adding complexity! Take the infrastructure you have developed to deliver internet content to a range of wholesale or service operator customers, and repurpose this for delivery to mobile network operators also.
Whether you're shooting and producing video and on-selling this through the broadcast, IPTV or internet content markets; or if you're a content aggregator transcoding 3rd party content into IPTV or internet delivery formats, MComms TV offers you tools to easily deliver this content into the emerging mobile video market
MComms TV offers a product called MComms Transcode, which takes existing internet-formatted streams and transcodes these realtime into formats suitable for mobile delivery, such as 3GPP, H.263, MPEG4 and H.264/AVC. If the original stream is of sufficient quality, then the new mobile-formatted video stream is virtually indistinguishable from a stream encoded directly from source.
The key benefit of this is that there is no need for a second video stream, bandwidth or feeds and encoder - the MComms Transcode server connects to the existing internet stream through the network, transcodes it and then delivers it over a network connection. The ability to offer mobile video streams is gained by simply adding new servers to the network - no additional video domain equipment is required whatsoever.
This substantially lowers the cost and complexity of adding an additional content delivery channel, and also means that your existing internet content streams can be sold to any Mobile Operator who implements the MComms Transcode product.
MComms TV also produce other products for mobile video operators, for the creation of live video preview menus, and the monitoring and management of video streams.
